Andrew Miller

Born 1981 in Traverse City, Michigan, USA. First photography class: 1996. Digital cameras were in their infancy. We worked with film in a school darkroom. I borrowed my father's 1960's 35mm Nikon F-series. Looking back, I'm glad hat I was able to experience developing film; the darkroom process. My background is in the Arts: colour theory, visual design, sculpture. I was able to develop my eye and sensitivity to proportion, balance, contrast and harmony. These principles relate to every area of the arts that I work in. Photography is a learning experience that never ends.
